About Us
Our
Story
Hi! We’re Kyle and Jill, the husband-wife team here at PRSPCTV Media. “PRSPCTV” is simply the word “perspective” without the vowels. Thanks for stopping by and getting to know us.
We are Torah Observant Christians. Our faith in Jesus is central to who we are and the decisions we make for our family & business. We were married in the foothills of the Crazy Mountains (just outside of Wilsall) during the summer of 2017. After graduation at SMU, we moved from the big city of Dallas to small town Livingston, Montana. We currently live here with our daughter, Everdawn, and purebred mutt, Jojo.
PRSPCTV Media is the answer to a need we saw in the real estate industry when we were in the market ourselves. Kyle is spatial, but didn't see many virtual tours or floor plans accompanying listings. We also believed there was significant room for improvement in photo quality. We are family-oriented and loved the idea of creating something together. We consider it a blessing to work together and have serendipitously found that our strengths complement one another's weaknesses.
We are extremely grateful for our clients and that shows in our interactions with you. We strive to provide you with a stellar experience - from the highest quality media with a customized, creative prspctv, to responsive communication, to friendly attitudes & big smiles! We're always evaluating our services and offerings to meet the growing needs of the industry. We love what we do and we're so happy to be here!
Our Roles
-
What is “PRSPCTV”?Simply the word “perspective” without the vowels. 😊 In real estate photography, the best shot is all about finding the right prspctv. Although we are the media experts, we recognize that you and the sellers are the property experts. Consequently, we ask questions to find and capture the property's unique prspctv and execute on any particular vision. Our ultimate goal is for the sellers to feel like the media we deliver perfectly captures the essence of their home!

What’s your turnaround time? When will I receive my media?Real estate photos & aerials, 2D floor plans, & 3D virtual tours are all next-business-day turnaround*. That means if your shoot was on Tuesday, you can expect those on Wednesday. Video can take between 1-3 business days. Headshots can take up to a week after you’ve selected the photos you want edited. *Our business days are Sunday through Friday, so media from shoots on Friday will be delivered Sunday.
-
How soon can you fit me in?We have sometimes been known to do same-day shoots! 😉 We can almost always work within your timeline - give us a call!
-
What equipment do you use?Camera Body: Canon R5 Lenses: RF15-30mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM (our daily driver photo lens: wide-angle zoom - for real estate photos) RF16mm F2.8 STM (wide-angle lens - for real estate videos) RF50mm F1.8 STM (portrait and detail lens, accurately-sized mountains - for photos & videos) RF85mm F2 Macro IS STM (portrait and detail lens - for photos) Drone: DJI Air 3 DJI Avata (coming soon! 👀) 3D Tours: Ricoh Theta Z1 Stabilization: Benro Geared Head SLIK Pro 700 Tripod Monopod Zhiyun Weebill S Audio: DJI Wireless Mic Saramonic Lavaliers Flash: Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X R2 (Godox V1)
-
How do you shoot?5-7 exposures (for more dynamic range), hand-blended (window pulls!), straight verticals, flash as needed (log homes, homes with dark paint colors, and/or homes with minimal natural lighting) or by request, great angles, and a unique prspctv every time.
-
Do you edit the photos?Yes, all of our delivered photos are professionally edited by our talented editing team who helps us maintain our next-day turnaround (even on days with 3+ shoots! Whoop whoop!) In addition to color grading, our standard editing process includes fire in the fireplace, blackened TV screens (no glares), and blurred personal images. We cull our photos and only deliver the best of the best – multiple angles, no dupes. We also have virtual staging AND decluttering options for an additional fee. Don't settle for less than a home looking its best!
-
My listing is near an airport, can I still get aerial photos and video?Yes, you have come to the right place! A lot of drone pilots shy away from flying near the airport, but we are Part 107 certified and fluent in FAA regulations, so we know how to legally and safely fly near airports. It can sometimes involve scheduling a week in advance and more paperwork with the FAA, but we take care of all that on our end for no additional fee. We have never denied a client aerial photos or video due to proximity to an airport.
-
Do you have a referral program?Yes! Word of mouth is everything in this industry. Our clients are truly the best & we recently concocted a way to reward you for spreading the love. When you refer someone in the industry our way (like an agent or builder), ask them to tell us you sent them (or use your referral code when signing up). After they book their first shoot and receive their media, you will receive a $100 credit!
-
How can I save $20?Take a behind-the-scenes photo or video of us on site and post it to your social media & tag us!
-
When is the best time to schedule a shoot? The best time for a shoot is simply the ideal time for you and the sellers. As the media experts, it is our job to work around sun & shadows regardless of the timing. If you are flexible and want optimal interior lighting, we recommend sometime between 10am and 3pm.
-
Should I include a 3D tour for my listing?Yes, most properties would benefit from a virtual tour. The proof is in the stats. 82% of sellers would switch to an agent offering 3D tours. 90% of buyers would be more compelled by a listing with a 3D tour and 55% of buyers would buy a property sight-unseen! So, if your property appeals to out-of-state buyers, we certainly recommend them. However, there are some spaces and land listings where it does not make sense, and we will be sure to share our opinion with you. P.S. Not all 3D tours are equal! We shoot our 3D tours with the end-user in mind. We are always happy to come to your office for an in-person learning, too. Just ask! And check out an example of our work under our Real Estate page.
-
Should I include a video for my listing? The majority of homeowners prefer to list with an agent who does video! In fact, video is primarily meant to sell you, the agent. Because of this, we highly recommend getting in front of the camera! Add an agent intro or voiceover to your next listing’s video. Check out some examples of our work under our Real Estate page.
-
What needs to be done before photography? We send out our pre-shoot checklist after booking so you and your sellers can ensure the home is ready for photos! Click below to read it.
-
Uh oh! The weather’s unfavorable on the day of my shoot, do we need to reschedule?Generally speaking – no! Overcast days are optimal for interior lighting and sky replacement (if needed) is complimentary. However, if 1) there are low-lying clouds blocking views, and/or 2) it is actively snowing or raining, it may be a good idea to reschedule. We will always be in touch on days with iffy weather. If we decide to reschedule, we can re-book you for our first available appointment.
-
What order do you recommend for photos on the MLS?NAR’s recommendation is to showcase photos of the property in a logical order to help understand the home’s layout. We organize the photos in a logical order for you before delivery to make things just a little bit easier! P.S. Our complimentary 2D floor plans help with this, too.
-
How do I book online?
-
How long will you be on site?Time onsite varies by project. Expect at least an hour, but your confirmation email will give you the most accurate estimate based on services ordered. We take our time at each listing to be thorough and capture what inspires us. It shows! However, if you or the sellers are on a time crunch – let us know! We can be efficient without sacrificing quality when necessary.
-
Do you use a wide angle/fisheye lens? The question most people are getting at with this question is actually, Do your photos look fisheye? We do use a wide angle lens, but it is not fisheye. In our editing process we remove any barrel distortion from the lens itself. A wide angle lens is beneficial in real estate photography so potential buyers can see more of the room.
-
What is your marketing kit?A great value-add for any property! The marketing kit is a huge time-saver and sellers love them! Customize a property website with all the media you ordered, and easily design social media posts & print outs. Check out our Real Estate page for an example (coming soon!) of the marketing kit.
-
Do you offer lot lines and callouts?Yes, lot lines, a red pin (indicating the property site), and/or one callout are complementary & available upon request. Additional callouts are $10 each.
-
What is your delivery method? We will email you a link to easily pay for and download your media. We offer two download options for your convenience - print and MLS. The MLS option downloads the photos within the resolution parameters set by the MLS. For PC users: unzip the file before uploading to ensure the photos remain crisp!
-
Do you shoot rentals? Is there a price difference?Yes, we shoot rentals. In fact, our clients who have used our photos for their rentals have seen a dramatic increase in bookings. No, there is no price difference. All of our pricing for rentals is the same as our real estate pricing and can be found under the Services tab. We recommend more photos for rentals than most think. Detail shots are especially important to showcase amenities and ambiance.
-
I have a custom media project that doesn’t fully fit any of your packages. Do you have any options for me?Reach out to us! We’d be happy to craft a solution with you.
-
Do you have a travel fee?We aren’t in the business of nickel-and-diming our clients. All travel within a 90-minute radius of Livingston is included with our services! Need something farther out? After the initial 90 minutes, each additional 15-minute increment is $50 (just billed one-way).
-
Do I need to be present at the listing? No, you do not need to be present if we can access the property without you (homeowner is there, door is unlocked, key under mat, key code given, etc.) We are polite and professional and will remove our shoes and lock up after ourselves. We always love meeting clients onsite, but understand if you cannot be there. Most clients will meet us at the property to show us around and leave shortly thereafter. Please let us know ahead of time if you will not be there so we can discuss the property’s features and any specific vision you or the sellers may have for the media.
-
Do you shoot on weekends? We offer shoots on Sunday! We take Saturday to Sabbath as a family.
-
I need to cancel/reschedule. Is there a fee?We will not charge a cancellation fee unless we are actively driving to the property or already on site. We are in the industry and understand things happen outside of anyone’s control! We ask for the soonest heads-up possible, so if you know you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know ASAP.
-
Can I split my shoot/package into multiple days on site?Absolutely! Our packages are priced based on one day on site, so additional days on site are an additional fee.
-
What payment methods do you accept? Which do you prefer? We strive to make the payment process as convenient as possible for our clients. We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Additionally, we also accept payment via checks. We prefer payment via check to avoid the processing fees!
-
I still have questions. How should I contact you?Reach out! Give us a call, email, text, DM, or catch us at the next GAR or YPN event. We are very friendly and would love to talk about your next project.
